Make it easy for your group
Name each Round clearly
Add the month to the Collection title, like “October dues”, so members know which Round they are in.
State the amount up front
Say what each member should send when you share the link. The list then shows exactly what each person sent.
Make the link the one source of truth
When someone asks if their dues landed, send the Collection link. It beats scrolling through chat history.
5Kobo takes no fee on contributions, and there is no subscription cost. Every withdrawal has a published Service fee - you see the exact amount before you confirm. See the Service fee
Common questions
Do members need an account?
No. Members open the link, see the account number and send from their own banking app. Only you, the Organizer, need to sign in.
Can members see what the association has collected?
Yes. The Collection page shows the Total raised and every Contribution, exactly as sent, so nobody has to rely on one person's list.
Does 5Kobo take a fee on dues?
5Kobo takes no fee on Contributions, and contributors pay nothing extra. The transfer fee the payment provider keeps is shown as “transfer fees absorbed”.
What does an Organizer pay?
There is no subscription cost to open or run a Collection. Every Withdrawal has a published Service fee, and pricing is fixed when your Collection starts.
