Open the Collection link
Tap the link in your group. Make sure it came from someone you trust.

Read the account number
The page shows the Collection's account number and the Total raised so far.

Send from your banking app
Use your own banking app to transfer to that account number. You do not sign up for anything.

Check the list
When your transfer lands, it is Confirmed and appears on the Collection page.
Sending a Contribution
Do I need an account to contribute?
No. Open the Collection link, see the account number, and send from your own banking app. There is no account to create and no app to install.
Does it cost extra to contribute?
No. Contributors pay nothing extra, and 5Kobo takes no fee on Contributions. The contribution list shows exactly what each person sent.
Where do I send the money from?
From your own banking app, as a normal transfer to the account number on the Collection page. 5Kobo is not a place you store or send money from.
Checking your Contribution
How do I know my Contribution landed?
Once your transfer lands, it is Confirmed and shows on the Collection page with the amount you sent. Open the same link again to check.
I sent, but I don't see it yet. What now?
Open the Collection link again and check the list. If it is still missing, tell the Organizer who shared the link. Keep your bank's transfer receipt in case they need it.
Can others see my Contribution?
Yes. Contributions are shown on the Collection page, so everyone in the group can check the same list. This is how 5Kobo replaces trust in one person's notebook.
Staying safe
How do I know the link is real?
Only use a Collection link shared by someone in your group whom you trust. If you are unsure, ask them directly before you send.
Can the Organizer take the money without anyone knowing?
Every Contribution and the Total raised are public on the Collection page. And every Withdrawal must be confirmed inside 5Kobo by the Organizer with Confirm it's you.
